Flat, uncapped 1.5x miles on every purchase with no bonus categories and no spending caps. Signature feature is Discover Match: at the end of the new cardmember's first year, Discover automatically matches all miles earned dollar-for-dollar, with no cap and no minimum spend required, effectively doubling first-year earnings. Miles redeem at a flat 1 cent each as a statement credit toward travel purchases, or - unusually for a travel-branded card - as cash back, a deposit, or a gift card at the same 1-cent value, so there's no devaluation for redeeming as cash. No foreign transaction fee. Note: Discover and Capital One have announced a brand transition of Discover-branded cards to Capital One expected around mid-2027; as of this verification the card is still issued and marketed under the Discover brand with terms as described above.
